When you’re asked to capture something as special as a Lake Como Wedding Italy for people like Jasmine & Ned, it’s safe to say you’re incredibly humbled, a little nervous but most of all, pretty pumped!
The Bride & Groom had a small band of their closet crew head over for their Lake Como Wedding, these extremely loving and lively people really helped shape the happy couples Italy wedding experience.
One of the advantages about having an elopement destination wedding is that you’re guests are with you for more than just your wedding day. Which means of course there’s plenty of more good times and partying to keep you up and about. Ned and Jasmine kicked the festivities off with a casual welcome dinner in Bellagio, a picturesque lakeside village at the tip of a long hilly promontory. You’re literally surrounded by endless mountains, charming cobblestoned alleys and the vino flows as free as the winding elegant lake you sit and marvel over every minute of the day.
Before greeting their guests Ned & Jas snuck off for a walk down to the lake where they shared some time alone chasing ducks and unsuccessfully skipping rocks. The sun may have been setting, but the night was just the beginning for what was their unforgettable wedding week in Lake Como Italy.
After celebrating in style at the welcome party, everyone kept the shenanigans at full throttle for Ned’s birthday dinner.
At the end of the evening we thought we saw someone that looked a little Clooneyesque, could this actually be George!! Alas, we realised it was the MC John still roaming the streets looking for the restaurant until 1am. The likeness is uncanny lol.
He could be forgiven for missing the birthday dinner though as he did manage to navigate 10 lads to and from San Siro Oval in Milan to watch AC Milan vs Inter Milan with 85k fans going berserk over the last minute penalty awarded to Inter to seal the 3-2 victory.
It seemed like everyone was up super early on the morning of the wedding, but why wouldn’t you be, we had a wedding to go to in Lake Como!! The sun was shining down, the mountains were singing to the lake in Laglio where we all were planning to pass out after the celebrations of the wedding reception at Villa Regina Teodolinda.
My trusty Australian in Milan second shooter and Buttface Babe Rhainna Nelson arrived and was on song for the day. Thanks so much for coming down to the lake and backing me up legend!!
With the boys safely home from the football and the ladies well rested, it was time to get this show on the road!!
Many thanks to
